Today is brought to you by the letter L and number 2!

(And the title was inspired by my friend, Megan. Thanks, Megs! Your facebook status updates are always funny) So yes, the letter L stands for LAZY and 2 is for the two honeymooners in room D732 (that's us!). We were incredibly lazy today and no, I don't feel guilty about it at all! We woke up bright and early around 6am and went to our spot in the piazza for coffee and a donut. Our favorite waitresses were there, eager to tell us they were glad we are still on the ship. There are about 2900 new passengers onboard as of yesterday because technically our cruise was booked as two separate itineraries, back to back. The new crowd is quite a mix of old, middle aged and a few young. The overall feel is so different, more of a party atmosphere. Unfortunately there seem to be some tacky, rude people who see their vacation as a time to treat staff as second class citizens. More on that later. During sail away yesterday we were entertained by our upstairs neighbors who have thick southern accents and sound to be as redneck as they come. There were many exclamations of, "Gaw-lee, I ain't never seen me a big boat like this one!". At one point one of the guys yelled down to Jim to ask if our room was a suite. When we answered in the affirmative, he said to his buddy, "See, Ricky? They always put them big rooms in the back!". They seem nice enough and I don't think they're smokers so all is good. Last night we enjoyed our "big ole' balcony" until the sun went down and then we went for dinner. Now here's where the previously mentioned rudeness comes in: there was a man and a woman seated near us who appeared to be in their early thirties. Let me set the scene for you, so you can get a good mental image of this joker...picture a guy with a face who looks like he could be on the cast of Jersey Shore, but without the accent. (Total mouth-breather, by the way). He had a fairly hairy chest and had his cheap looking short sleeved "dress shirt" only buttoned half way. He was also wearing a gold chain and thick gold bracelet. Upon being seated, he and his companion proceeded to gulp their fruity cocktails while he kept trying to use his phone, becoming increasingly frustrated when he couldn't get an Internet connection. When the waitress approached to take their order, the guy ordered a hamburger and demanded "I want cheese on that!" The waitress assured him they could do that but the guy rudely said, "Is it cheddar? I want cheddar!". She again told him, no problem. He spat back, "Make sure your COOK knows I WANT CHEDDAR!". So, I have nicknamed this individual 'Cheddar-fit'. When we see him, I say under my breath, "Hi Cheddar-fit!" and it makes me giggle.
Anyway, back to our day...After breakfast, we came back to the room to enjoy our balcony, spending the entire day here reading. We left briefly to check on the pools (crowded) and to eat fish and chips for lunch (delicious!). Tonight we've decided to skip dinner in the dining rooms in favor of dinner and a movie in our room. Tomorrow I expect more of the same, and well, I'm ok with that! Below, please enjoy pictures of our sail away yesterday and our sunrise this morning as there's nothing else really worth showing. (I sure wish I'd thought to get a picture of old cheddar-fit though). Until tomorrow, bye Y'all!
