I bet you're reading this thinking to yourself, "Hmmm, maybe they had lobster for dinner!" No. Or maybe you think we saw some lobsters on a dive today. Nope, that's wrong too. Lobster refers to the color of poor Jim's skin after a day spent near the pool. As an esthetician, I forced the SPF 50 upon him but his fragile Idaho skin got clobbered by the caribbean sun anyway. It's odd, this role reversal of ours, as I used to be the one who got burnt but today I remain my normal pallid color. We started the day early again and went straight to the "quiet" pool in the aft area of the ship. Jim did a bit of swimming and I did my normal people watching. The most interesting was a guy in a full cowboy get-up, black jeans, long sleeve western shirt, bolo tie, huge brass belt buckle (with American flag motif), pointed and heeled snakeskin boots, and red white and blue hat. Why why why??? Why wear that to the pool??? I tried to get a picture for you all but only got his backside. Enjoy.
After we were done sunning, we arranged to have afternoon tea in our stateroom. Our favorite room service waitress, Natalya (from Ukraine) brought a complete tea for us, including little sandwiches, scones, and various sweets. (that's what the other picture is of). She spoils us, she really does. Because of the tea we opted out of dinner and instead enjoyed a nature documentary that was being played in the outdoor theater. All in all, today was a good day but I'm really looking forward to getting on land tomorrow as we stop in Antigua. For now, I need to go apply some more aloe to Jim's lobster carapace. Goodnight everyone!
